How The Hell Do I Get Internships

#1
I'm a sophomore at a state school. I want to get an internship and I've just been applying. Editing my resume based on the good ones I've seen on csmajors. However, I was wondering what are some concrete steps I can take to land an internship at any tech company. I'm happy to get the experience anywhere. Thoughts?

Dig through the teaching staff roster looking for adjunct professors, and ask them if the company they work for has any internship positions open. Bonus points if you can take the course that the professor is teaching to demonstrate your competency and personality, and then ask the professor for an endorsement letter to go with your internship application.

Internship hiring seasons is approaching (fall for next summer, to get the best) It's a numbers game just like regular job hunting. Good luck and keep at it

I've been trying to hit 20 a day. But I was wondering if there were any better ways. Numbers game it is.
