The title of the submission is misleading: prices at renewal get a 40% discount, not prices are increasing by 40%.

For example, Webstorm yearly billing is going from $60 to $70, a roughly 16% increase. All Products is increasing by about the same. [0]

It’s not just misleading it’s flat-out wrong. Someone skimmed the article, saw “40%” used in a completely different context, and decided that was the price increase.
