#2For any kind of real startup, outsourcing your development is a really bad idea, fyi. Also, just so you know, your ideas are completely worthless. But that doesn't necessarily mean you're worthless as a cofounder. Hopefully you can bring more than an idea to the table.

#3The best thing you can do is start turning up to developer meetups. There are no doubt some in your area, if you're in any sort of medium or large city. If you've already spent 10 years learning to program you're probably better than you think. Make friends in that community and soon enough (think 6-12 months) one of them will probably emerge looking like a good potential cofounder. For any kind of real startup, outs…

#4What you need to do is go out and find developers in person because you will get a completely botched representation online. Go to a meetup, go to a hacker space, put an ad out for building a small website (to have them come to you).
