Today I spent a long time looking for a post from three days ago only to find out its title had been completely changed from the original (I assume by a mod). This is unnecessary and creates confusion. I would suggest adding an additional optional "alternate title" for this purpose (reddit has this) or just let the community vote decide if a post title is good enough.

#2Submitted titles are usually changed if they aren't in compliance with the guidelines[1], e.g. doesn't use the original page title.
In my opinion, this is a good thing.
