Honestly, I find the American propensity to blame Russia for its actions in Crimea to be of the most blatant hypocrisy one can imagine. Russia has better arguments for defending its naval bases in Crimea from Ukraine hostility, than America has for .. Iraq .. Afghanistan .. Libya .. and so on. Russia was threatened by the Ukraine? Really? That's like the US invading Canada and saying "if we didn't do it Canada could have threatened our existence!". It's a ridiculous statement.
