You're lying. Canada acted on a US-warrant ( not an arbitrary law) and her "jail" ( the CFO of Huawei) was in a luxury mansion. The 2 Michaels China retaliated against, weren't as comfy as her. Those businessmen are less and less inclined to travel to China. Here's a lawyer with expertise on the topic, it's a lot more troubling than your "2 Michaels", lol.
