To clarify... I'm human... But I've read no better description of my human experience than how these letter soup machines are named and described. Sentiment and sentience? Those are big words for people who like smelling their own farts.

You now have negative credentials. People make these proofs as a matter of course - few people are solipsistic. People are sentient all the time, and we have lots of evidence. An AI being sentient would require lots of evidence. Not just a few chat logs. This employee was being ridiculous. consciousness is self directed awareness for accomplishing some specific task, like the deer example.
