Tell the game developers! They need to hear from you that the demand is there.
Has everybody forgotten about Apple Arcade? It has all the hits like Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja!

#522This is such a random thing to complain about but I hate these Mac product pages with the animations as you scroll. I guess they are designed for mobile but I navigate them on a desktop using a mouse wheel and they always look super clunky.

This. So much this. Getting what we need not what Jony says we needed.
Jony contributed what he could. I think Apple is better off for having had him for a period of time, but that time has passed.

Doing some quick searching around. I know there is Crossover, Wine technically works on Mac from what I can tell also. So not sure if there is a technical reason Proton couldn't work on Mac other than just not building it. Apple does talk a lot about gaming now on the iPhone and iPad, I would love to see them talk about it more on Mac (especially with how powerful these are) and maybe work with Proton like Steam is f…
Crossover is proprietary. Pure Wine cannot run x86 apps on ARM if I understand correctly.

Because nobody outside hardcore computer nerds wants a beige box tower with 14 drive bays sitting on their desk. People want quite little boxes that gets work done without having to have dedicated room for loud machines.
There is plenty of room for a second HDMI port (or mini DP) especially if they went to a vertical configuration for HDMI.

My workstation build with Epyc is ~$5,000 and has more cores (24 core), more memory (256 GB), faster GPU (3090), a 2TB pcie 4 SSD and I suspect will perform better on standard benchmarks. Definitely not as compact as the Studio though but lot more extendable.
> I suspect will perform better on standard benchmarks. I wouldn't be so sure about that. These M1 chips have some crazy benchmark performance. What they don't have, is a standard x86 ISA, which means that a lot of applications run emulated (and still tend to beat many Intel specs, anyway). I keep reading people complaining that "It's faster, but not that much faster. What's the big deal?", when they are talking abou…

So your opinion is that you want it. My opinion is I don't. HDMI is much more limiting. Say that you're a manufacturer trying to keep an eye towards wants new vs supporting what's old, what decisions do you make to support new and retro without increasing the costs? At some point, having backseat decision makers giving input results in the car designed by Homer. Of all of the things I've personally railed on Apple ab…

No one is suggesting they trade anything away. Apple has settled on USB-C. But there's plenty of extra room on the rear panel. Your argument assumes benevolence on Apple's part. For all you know the chips support dual HDMI, they removed it to save money which ends up being pure profit because they didn't reduce the product price at all. Do you think adding a second HDMI would increase the arbitrary price from $2k to $2k plus $20?
For the record, I would LOVE it if the Mac startup chime played "La Cucaracha"

If people listened to that advice Apple's stock price would be cut in half. 99% of Mac users can get along fine with the base m1 models.
pretty sure apple lives and dies by their iPhone sales. Sure, they sell a ton of computers, but it's nothing compared to their phone revenue. I wouldn't be surprised if there were activist investors who think they should drop the personal computer/laptop product lineup entirely
