I think the decline of moral argument and the rise of this general "anything goes" attitude has been a negative for society. We have to decide to draw a line somewhere. Even porn companies that feature of-age performers are highly exploitative and uncomfortably close to human trafficking - see the case of Girls Do Porn, and they're just the one that got caught doing it.

I don't think it's unreasonable to argue that some sexual behavior should be considered "bad" - voyeurism, selling yourself for money, extreme fringe interests/fetishes, etc. I don't buy the idea that Pornhub is just an innocent business trying to run their website. They have built an empire on human exploitation.

What I find crazy is that you can't just start your own payment processor. That space is gatekeeped to the extreme and it is what makes me uneasy about the whole electronic money thing. If we want to part with paper money, we should be allowed to issue our own cards tied to our own money reserves.

The article said one of the removed videos was their most popular of all time. So I’m not so sure how long tail it was.

The web is absolutely full of “don't ask; don't tell” child pornography.

Spaces such as Reddit's r/gonewild are no doubt also full of technical child pornography, but who is to tell? 4chan has a strong stance against clear child pornography and has lead to many an arrest of those that attempt to post that, but I very often see images posted that certainly plausibly could be, but there is no way to tell and age estimation is not that reliable.

"You do not go after women and start a family." One of the many benefits I have received from porn and sex positivity in general. Imagine thinking you're supposed to "go after" a woman because of some requirement to start a family? Absolutely dystopian.

You wouldn't even be here if your dad didn't go after your mom. What's dystopian about the drive to perpetuate the species? That's the most basic function of any lifeform.

What’s worse, Reddit disables NSFW/porn content in Incognito on iOS Safari and prompts you to install the app. How that got past Apple is beyond me.

Best of all, it promises it's anonymous if you install the app.
