A big part of the wrap is cleaning the paint first. At least it was when I got mine clear wrapped (ppf). You want it clean so the contaminates don't mess up the paint under the wrap. I left it with them for 3 days because there's also process time to dry or sit. Maybe it's different with a textured polycarbonate panel though

I don't think there is any paint.

The center console touchscreen is just a self contained vestigial free entertainment, not the "core" of the car by any means. They're exactly what airplane seatback monitors are. The trackers aren't in the infotainment. Removing the infotainment do not solve the tracker problem.

But what problem would keeping the infotainment system solve?

There's still an undisclosed larger battery option, I hope it would be less than $5k additional to unlock a 300 mile range.

I think they increased the base battery range and ditched the extended battery option.

I understand zero touchscreens, but what's the problem with power windows? What if you're driving and you want to lower the passenger window?

What if you get swept away by an unforeseen surge of water, and want to lower a window to get out?

Price is nice to see. The cab design is from before the '90s though. That's to say, not much space and rather plain.

Also, like many contemporary vehicles it still has that snubbed nose design that limits vision of low profile objects in front of the vehicle. It's a design choice, not a necessity. Wonder why given it was a blank slate design,

This truck is remining me of the Yugo. When the Yugos were announced people were thrilled about the price. Unfortunately after they were in use people understood why they were so cheap, quality suffered and they were basically disposable cars. Cheap is nice in theory but eventually you wish for something a bit better.
