The bug you linked is about the properties window of an existing bookmark, which is resizable.

I might have linked the wrong one, it doesn't change the fact that the window still isn't resizable and there is a bug of similar age buried in bugzilla.

Good timing! I actually fixed this 21 year old feature request: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52821 You can set browser.quitShortcut.disabled=true in about config starting with Firefox 87.

Awesome, thank you. This will fix most of my accidental firefox closing. Too bad that I sometimes fatfinger ctrl-w as ctrl-shift-w.

Because not many people use it. I don't think many people have the desire to save a whole web page. For other unseen you can probably just get away with taking a screenshot, sending the tab / sharing the link, or using an archiving site to save it for later.

I certainly don't use it since it's gone, I have to save pdf on desktop and then rsync it to the phone.

Not a bug I personally was very affected by, but:

If my impression of Mozilla is correct you must have both done the work and possibly also fought hard to be allowed to merge it.

(Now, if any Mozillan feel inspired I'd love to get my real extensions back, particularly TST without top tab bar and also Scrapbook.)

I was using Emacs in 1982, and it had been around for several years before that.

I used that all the time. Saving an entire webpage as just one single file with all images and resources embedded was a terrific way to archive pages and resources in research. Of course pdf was works great too but you lose the flow of a browser.
