One thing I’ve noticed in London, being recently single after a 7 year relationship is that people’s behaviour on dating apps has changed pretty considerably. Speaking to female and male friends, both sides are seeing them as a complete shitshow that’s not helping either side meet the right people.

Fair point - the population numbers are largely due to the (most common) marital structure, and societal expectations around having kids.
