Basically Modern 5G ( allows ) moving most of the compute, controller to the cloud. That is why 5G is much more cost effective from Carrier's POV. For something truly like WiFi it would be Standalone NR-U ( New Radio Unlicensed ). I am just wondering if it will ever be cost effective for consumers.
