our main app and extension work with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Password X in particular is new approach and its first iteration works in Chrome only. Which doesn't mean it will not work in other browsers as well in later versions.
Fair enough. And full disclosure, I have been a happy 1Password user for years - will be a sad day if/when local storage is no longer an option and I have to find another solution.
