I've played for about an hour and agree with your assessment. I still have it installed but I doubt I will revisit it. I've switched to South of Midnight and it's amazing. Not everyone's type of game - and certainly not a puzzle game - but the graphics, music, story, and gameplay combine to make it one of the best games I've played in a long, long time.
