I like how few features there are, it does one job and does it well

7. The interface and the community are better than those found anywhere else (except maybe Lobste.rs)

8. I want to entertain myself and hopefully learn something. Usually, I succeed.

9. Maybe make the post and comment interactions a little bigger? I mistap and misclick fairly often.

10. Simple, efficient, and sane.

Define contribute. Writing code for ycombinator.com? No. Commenting, etc? Yes.

I mainly answer questions about issues I know a thing or two about, and read insights from interesting people.

I use hnreplies.com to get replies and to respond to people in a timely manner.

I'd add the ability to follow or highlight people who's comments/submissions I'm interested in.
