Ask HN: Would you pay to have your ideas validated by your customers early on?

#1
We are a small team of engineers and product managers from the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco).

We all know that > 90% of startups fail, but we are set out on a mission to help reduce that number. Founders / Entrepreneurs / Product Managers / Idea People of Hacker News - we seek your input to help make that vision a reality!

The problem: Currently, there are several sites out there that allow you to: 1. test your designs and wireframes, or 2. build / test a prototype of your product

But, there is no way to test / validate your idea without either: 1. Creating a wireframe / design / mockup, or 2. Creating a "Minimum viable product" or prototype

What if you could validate your idea (with the right audience - your potential customers), right after you come up with the idea, without having to do either of the 2? And without needing to FIND the right audience, your potential customers?

That's the problem we're hoping to solve.

Nice! What's your timeline like? We want to get our next game idea reviewed before we build the MVP.

@rishuarora: Our website is being developed, but we will be launching soon. We will be giving a select group of 100 people early access to our platform (and free credits to have their ideas reviewed and validated - for free) when we launch.

We are currently accepting signups for our limited beta program. The first 100 signups will be able to participate in the program, the rest will go on the waitlist and will require an invite.

To sign up for our beta, go to: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1HZJK2Zye5JKF23EBIZ0mxknn7Z2...

Don't use blatant sockpuppet accounts to comment and upvote your submission.

@minimaxir Oh shucks, you gave away our secret sauce!

On a more serious note, we will ensure that the demographic targeting is 100% legitimate, from real people.

Sockpuppeting is not "secret sauce", it's spam.

What's going to be the turnaround time for getting a report?

@vinayhasija - great question! Depends a lot on how specific your demographic targeting / target audience is. The harder the audience is to reach, the longer it will take. That said, you can expect a short turnaround time, within a few hours in most cases.
