Not available in your country. Well I guess I won't be paying to watch this crappy movie.

Why would you region lock a terrible movie that you are 'afraid' to release in theatres?

Not to mention you'd have to pay for it, so it's not the same argument as when being offered free (bandwidth costs, etc).

I've found a second method to see the movie for free. Step 1) Go to https://twitter.com/search?q=seetheinterview.com%2Fplayer%2F Step 2) Click on a link to seetheinterview.com's player Step 3) Either use a USA VPN or enter the '403 Forbidden' URL into a USA web proxy such as http://www.usawebproxy.com/

Not bad. Works.

No more.

I hope Stripe developers didn't write this code. I got the movie for free, jesus ... http://imgur.com/a/hf8FZ - and I didn't get a job after my interview with Stripe earlier this year.

Oof. You found a legitimate bug with their integration -- they've now fixed it.

I buy almost everything except food and clothing from online auctions most people aren’t aware of the almost I unbelievable deals that they can get from online auction sites the site that has the best deals is >>>

http://saveslam.com

I checked with the BBB and was told that it is all legit. How they can sell gift cards, laptops, cameras, and all kinds of goodies that we all want for 50-90% off, I don’t know I do know that I bought my son an ipad there for less than $100 and my husband a $250 Low gift cards for $48. Why would I even think about shopping anyþlace else?

wish you a happy christmas

See " http://pciguru.wordpress.com/2013/06/30/developers-beware-st... . If you accept a CVC or CVC2, the requirements are much stricter, because an attacker who can get hold of a card number with the CVC/CVC2 can buy more expensive items. Stripe works by having pages invoke their "stripe.js" within the host page. The risk of mixing payment processing input into a general site is that anything that can access the DOM…

Stripe checkout does use an iframe from checkout.stripe.com for the payment form.

Yes, it does. But that iframe is dynamically invoked by JavaScript executing in the parent page. The user can't easily see that the popup is more secure than the background page.

1) Open up the chrome developer tools 2) On the sources tab, set a breakpoint @ line 69, the one saying "if ( response == 'lacey' ) {" 3) Reload the page 4) Open the console tab, type response = 'whatever' 5) Go back to the sources tab and hit the Play button 6) Enjoy movie

Eh. It takes more effort to regionally lock something on the Internet than not. Sony makes this sound like they'll go to every effort eventually to release this movie across the globe - doing that would require so much less effort than they're currently expending. When you say "wait" you're asking people to assume Sony will get around to considering them equal members of the Internet society. Or they can just assert…

> Eh. It takes more effort to regionally lock something on the Internet than not. Not necessarily. To properly allow your product to be sold in multiple international markets, you need to have customer support in the local languages. You need to support the popular local payment systems. You need localized fraud detection (risks differ by area). You also need to comply with local laws (copyright law differs by countr…

Nonsense. You need that stuff for localized releases. Allowing worldwide purchase of the English/US version (take it or leave it) is perfectly possible and is easier.

Did you somehow miss how software or SaaS is sold these days? Worldwide?

The real reason is probably something mentioned elsewhere here: distribution contracts already in place.
