#3Let me see, you attack and bash male gamers in countless Tumblr and other social media posts. You support other people who attack and bash male gamers all over the Internet.
Then one of the people doing the attacking and bashing of male games does a video game, and sleeps with reviewers to get good reviews for a SimVille ripoff called Depression Quest.
Some anonymous trolls found all of this out, and send threats via social networks using dummy accounts.
So of course you blame all of the male gamers for this?
I'm sorry I fail to see how attacking and bashing male gamers is going to make equality happen.
You should really support gamers and say the other person on the other side of the video game screen it doesn't matter what gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc they are we are all human beings worthy of compassion and empathy to try and get equality.
If you want a certain demographic group of people to change, you clearly don't bash and attack them to the point that they have a few of them fight back with threats.
I fail to see why this is on Hacker News. it is really political in nature. Feminists bashing and attacking male gamers and then being afraid of them due to the actions of a few who negatively reacted.
It is like going to Iran and denouncing Islam by burning a Koran in public, what do you expect would happen?
