Interesting! There are a number of consulates in the area, but for much larger nations: Korea, Portugal, India, Russia.

It's weird they have fictitious entries right on crowded areas of a metropolitan city which tons of people look up on their mobile phones every single day. I'd say this is bad UX.

#10Perhaps related to Google's Map Engine tools? It appears to be a layer on top of the base map, though maybe it was part of their Partner Program: http://maps.google.com/help/maps/mapcontent/basemap/index.ht...
