#2Why are all these flat, or NoDB CMS systems coming out? I feel like there has been a recent uptick in the amount of these systems being released.
Personally, I like Kirby 2.

The modern Web is full of sites that don't need all the bulk that comes with a database-backed CMS like WordPress or Joomla. A lot of folks just want something that is quick, simple, and easy to create content for.

#4It's almost like people have had enough of CMS's with billions of options and extensions when all they want is a simple website. Seems like a great way to set up a microsite for product launches etc. I'm always up for learning new stuff.
