While I probably fairly well agree with the content of the article (I haven't read all of it), this shouldn't really be on here.

Not sure why this is on HN but I read a Huf Post article that left me a bit unsure of what to think last night.

Bombing Gaza in reprisal and continuing to isolate it from the West Bank and the rest of the world will not solve anything.

Extrajudicial assassinationsand wholesale bombing will only escalate the situation further.

When IRA bombs were set off in London, there was no call to bomb West Belfast. The situation was solved by bringing justice to those guilty within a legal framework, and negotiation. The situation here is no different, but the response is to shell and bomb a city of mostly civilians.
