But both of these are already as high/low as it can get and still no response from GDP.

#6We currently spend over a trillion dollars a year on defense and intelligence. "Entitlements" are not the problem.I love how they are entitlements even though you pay for them...in fact, let's start calling it the social safety net instead.
The main problem is that the wealthy, corporations and individuals, don't pay enough. Cut defense by half and stop letting the wealthy walk all over us and all of a sudden you don't have a crisis.
