#2they have an office next to where I work... I've had to reach them twice and everyone I dealt with was high/mighty/rude right off the bat... I overhear them after hours in the local bar as well... bratty
granted I've never used pinterest, but seeing this valuation cracks me up... I've learned from past experience, dating too, if someone is a jerk to strangers (or the waiter) drop them
battle google? go for it, and this may be even more off topic, but I've run into googlers around the city and they have always been friendly/polite/ almost humble for working at google... no way they compete in my mind

#4Pinterest adds considerably more value to my life than any other social network.
It provides inspiration that plans my meals, my vacations, my clothing, the style of my home, etc.

Me too. I use it to get inspired at work (for UI design) and home (me and my significant other have a board for backyard ideas) and creative pursuits (like graphic arts).
The space is also very monetizable.
I think Pinterest is going to be bigger than Twitter.
