I'm a system administrator, and I like monitoring, ensuring backups are present, clusters, and performance tweaks. Along with large chunks of automation via Ansible, Fabric, CFEngine, and similar systems.
Things I can handle are all the things you'd expect; Apache, memcached, redis, beanstalkd, openvpn, pound, varnish, ucarp, MySQL, PostGresql, NFS, KVM, monitoring systems, and similar.
Previous experience includes working at a technical hosting company, being a consultant for a significant MySQL cluster deployment, and writing lots of software on the side (Perl, C, C++, node.js, ruby, etc)
