Personally the feature I'm looking forward to is the improved performance on the older devices.

Although if there are no new APIs, I'm not sure why anyone but Apple would care if users were on 7.0 or 7.1.

It's in their best interest that every user updates to the latest version, so sugar-coating the update makes sense. Personally the feature I'm looking forward to is the improved performance on the older devices.
