Part of the difficulty of bringing this about is making p2p easy for users. I have high hopes that WebRTC data channels can start tearing these walls down by making it as simple as opening a web app.

Not only easy, but also fast and reliable enough to compete with centralized services.

I always chuckle when the title of the article was obviously changed after first putting it online because the slug uses a different word: "Tim Berners-Lee: we need to re-decentralise the web" vs "tim-berners-lee-reclaim-the-web"

That doesn't imply the title was changed. Shorter slugs are nicer, and there could be some policy involved in keeping them short. It doesn't mean anything.
