I'm impressed by how much CPU this website is able to use. It pegged all 8 cores at 100% while I had the website open on firefox/win7

I'm not convinced that I like Facebook or any of my friends content enough to want ANOTHER channel of absorbing it. However, the app seems to be beautifully executed and the marketing page is pretty flawless. Some of the memory concerns aside, I love when companies create those kinds of landing pages. It's native. Zuckerberg has self-proclaimed Facebook to be "a mobile company."
My girlfriend found it frustrating that she can attach a picture to a facebook post in the browser (even on mobile) but can't in the app.

To me it does look cool, it's just that FB is nothing but social spam nowadays and this is probably just a new way of wrapping it up in.

Why is it shame its from facebook? FB has been at the forefront of awesome UI design concepts for al long time, specifically in mobile.

Happened to me as well. Can't understand why huge companies with a wide variety of visitors use techniques that deliver sub-par experiences so often. I'm running the latest version of Firefox with a $2k Macbook Pro.
