The article lists the "ideal size" for monitors at 50 inches, and the one for TVs at 100+ inches! You won't know until you try. I hesitated a lot about switching my CRT from 14" to 17". After half an hour of work going back felt like staring at ATM bulb shaped display.
I'd like to try very large monitors but it's pointless without higher resolution so I'll wait until I can buy 4K as a toy.
