I don't know if we should be happy; according to Groklaw the bankruptcy filing will put the Novell and IBM lawsuits on hold, moving SCO's day of reckoning even further into the future.

This just means that someone will buy their "patents" cheap and start another lawsuit.

Well, if I recall they didn't have much to stand on with their patents regarding Linux so I'm not too worried about this.
