Good, if the middle power democracies don't align/work together they are going to get torn apart in the struggle between the US and China.

One thing that is common about middle democracies is that prioritize a bureaucratic elite structure over an entrepreneurship culture, while both the US and China embrace entreprenuership wholeheartedly. If they changed that they'd perhaps become world powers themselves.

Didn’t China force Meta to unwind Manus? In no way is China embracing entrepreneurs wholeheartedly.

The US _also_ embraces rent-seeking, regulatory capture, and the externalization of social and environmental costs as entrepreneurship.

Good news. This world needs more cooperation and friendship.

It's not about friendship but money.

It's more about predictability.

America's become erratic and untrustworthy. America's made a deliberate choice make its reputation worse.

The US has something called CFIUS. This is normal statecraft

There is no struggle, China has already won.

In what way has "China already won"?

Good thing EU is investing heavily in renewables then.

Those wind turbines are destroying the scenery, though.

Exactly. I prefer seeing pumpjacks and hydrofracking equipment, just like all red blooded capitalists.
