:D Well, now that I feel fairly comfortable with codex outputs ( some corrections needed, but nothing crazy ):

- rowboat variant that is a little more tuned to what i personally need ( effectively ready - currently testing ) - simple platformer for kid - done ( was fun ) - isometric rpg ( started yesterday ) - so far results are better than anticipated, because the designed underlying system surprised me - pending - and a whole bunch of smaller tools that come and go

Codex seems to be now where Claude was not that long ago.

https://shotbrief.app/

ShotBrief answers whether tomorrow is worth going out at your shoot location, weather, sunrise and sunset, moon phase, aurora where it applies, and a go/no-go score for the whole day.

Because I like going out early for photography, but I also like sleeping in, so this just tells me if it's worth it waking up early.

Fabling.app

Got tired of trying to learn Spanish with Duolingo.

This uses the parts of AI that can actually help one learn efficiently, namely: - generate stories that are slightly beyond your understanding (i+1) - i.e mostly words you know or are learning, and a few new words - tracks your vocab and how often you lookup définitions - auto generates a vocab review deck (using fsfr Anki style)

I've been working on a voxel game engine called Bonsai for ~10 years. Probably the most interesting thing about it at the moment is the editor. The world, and most things in it, are represented as collections of SDFs. More accurately, they're density fields, but, potato-tomato. Bonsai has undergone a large rewrite over the last couple years that's nearing completion. A world edit is defined as a bunch of SDF paramete…

I.. want to join to chorus of praise here. Nice work man!

https://radius.to/ - a Meetup.com alternative of sorts - with fairer organiser pricing for smaller groups. I posted a Show HN [1] here a while back, got tons of great feedback, and have been slowly improving it since, with little marketing. Planning a re-launch here soon.

Recently shipped lightweight events called activities, to allow people to meet each other more easily through things they're doing - i.e. "John is going for a cycle tomorrow".
