I built Nexus, a multi-tenant notification platform: Redis-backed queues with BullMQ, distributed locking via Redis SET NX to close a real race condition under concurrent load, sorted-set sliding-window rate limiting, and dead-letter queues for failure isolation. Load tested with k6 to 200 concurrent users at sub-40ms median latency and 0.01% error rate.
