Awesome! Please note that despite its popularity, ifconfig hasn't been maintained at all for the lady decade and breaks on some networking configurations. No distributions use it - they use e ip command iproute2, which I see you also cover.

Ifconfig is still part of Unix parlance, so I think you're doing the right thing by covering it, however I'd lead with the current tools, and then show ifconfig later, to prevent newcomers from unexpected surprises later on.

Having a Linux instance available in the browser is really cool, and greatly reduces the barrier to getting started. It seems to have no man pages, though.

It would be really nice if there were an easy way for the reader to correct typos. Emailing the author or posting such things to the comments section is just so much more clumsy than it could be.
