Senior/staff backend & systems engineer. I design, build, and own backend services and data models end to end, and go as deep as the system needs — down to production infra and build tooling (recent: GCP VM→Kubernetes and CI/CD unification). At my best designing systems for the failure modes most people only meet in production, and building the tooling that makes a whole team faster. Full-stack when a job needs it, but my value is backend systems design with real ownership. B2B contract, remote in the EU. I prefer to use AI not to increase throughput but to dramatically increase the quality.

Backend engineer with 8 years of experience, currently Engineering Team Lead at a fintech. I own the financial backend end-to-end: payment infrastructure across 7 rails (Stripe, M-Pesa, Basis Theory, direct bank APIs), serving hundreds of thousands of users in Kenya and Tanzania.

On the side I built Watchdock, an observability platform that processes 25M+ nginx logs and generates AI-powered incident fixes. Also shipped MyFinance AI, a personal finance tool with a custom ML model hitting 92.4% accuracy on spending predictions.

Open to senior backend, staff, fintech/payments, or founding engineer roles.

Remote: Yes, strongly preferred. Fully remote for two years with a US team.

Full-stack engineer, 4+ years, looking for a steady full-time role: full-stack, solutions/support engineering, or SDK/integrations work at a remote-first company. I've shipped two products solo to paying users: GhostChat (ghostchat.dev), a 15KB dependency-free chat SDK with a production Claude assistant, live on ~190 sites; and Gmailytics (gmailytics.com), Google CASA Tier 2 certified, 5M+ emails processed. Before that, a payment system processing $1M+/year and 30+ React blocks for enterprise clients, and a 100K-record Salesforce migration. I maintain public SDKs on npm and a WordPress.org plugin, write the docs and changelogs, and work async by habit. Not looking for a rocket ship; looking for a team that ships well and goes home. Native English, conversational Hebrew.
