Apple users: We won't leave apple ecosystem but those android fold phones looks cool, wish apple had something similar.

As a recent Android foldable phone owner (Google Pixel), I'm excited that the Duo will get developers to actually design apps for foldables. Right now, some apps don't work at all and others are just stretched. I feel a better use of the screen space is around the corner for both Android foldable and Duo users.

My immediate thought seeing this design was how expensive this is going to be for companies to get their existing apps to look good on this thing.

maybe this will finally solve the problem of every phone I use causing my old man eyes extreme eye strain. I hope they solved the issues with other foldable phones though. At these prices a single issue wouldn't be fun.

After watching some reviews of the Duo, I'm convinced that Steve Jobs would have never let the inner panel be matte while the outer panel was glossy. It's too inconsistent and inelegant.

While 4x3 is great (for 1998) and I do run server windows in 1280x1024, all the widescreen media is gonna look terribad.

Are we going back to 'modified to fit your screen' days?
