I spent over three years at ICBC working on Java/Spring services and financial data workflows, completed my M.Eng. at McMaster in 2025, and currently work on finance-focused LLM evaluation as an AI Data Trainer at Cohere.

I work on the failures that only show up under real traffic — retries that cause double effects, calls with no deadline, agent loops with no ceiling, and state that disagrees with what the payment provider thinks happened.

Public and checkable: a fix of mine was merged into changedetection.io (33k stars) by the project owner — https://github.com/dgtlmoon/changedetection.io/pull/4390 — their path-containment guard had no test, and disabling it left every existing test passing. My regression tests for their LLM retry client were merged into the branch of a second, still-open PR there.
