Apple: Every one else does folding wrong! Also Apple: We've done it the exact way Samsung and Microsoft did it! We even used the same Duo name as Microsoft!
I suspect I would get greater value by simply duct-taping two iPhones together into a fold.

We keep putting more powerful chips into phones, and giving them bigger screens, but we never turn them into useful computers. Why is this?
I'll give John Ternus credit: the demos are interesting and fun . Maybe not $2k fun + inherent risk with buying the first generation of an Apple product particularly after the Apple Vision Pro, but still.
I find it sad that they're doing it all pre-recorded.

Interesting that there seems to be no FaceID? They only mentioned TouchID. I assume it’s a limitation of the under-screen camera. They’ve been doing Touch ID instead of faceID with some of their products a few times, I think some of the iPad models? but unfortunately touchID has like a 20% success rate with my fingers. FaceID works 100% of the time for me. I’ve never had good luck with any fingerprint scanners. I hop…
I really hope that in the coming years we will be able to get smaller phones back into the market. Apple compared this to the size of a passport. A passport seems even bigger than a normal iPhone, even when folded. A number of people (especially women with smaller hands) I know are holding onto their iPhone Minis for as long as possible.
