Quasi-satirical? I didn't think there was any quasi about it.

The movie certainly is (directed by same guy as Robocop) I can’t comment on the source material.

I think they meant it's just pure satire

Not really. Their hats were different, and they didn't have as much shoulder flair.

Plus the iconic painted blister pack that SW had on the breast.

Yeah, but you've got to admit, the baddies are always dressed better. That's got a serious Hugo Boss aesthetic.
