#12I opened the link from the mobile, and when I pressed PLAY NOW, some scam links opened and initiated Apple Pay payment on my phone.
I'm pretty sure this is not what you intended but still it does what it does.

What the kids call "DOS games" nowadays... Half of the games on this list are for Windows 95 or later. The site should call them PC games. Okay Boomer...
At one point during it's usage, words just stop accurately describing what it is, and starts communicating a vibe or something instead. Just like "DOS Games", "MIDI" which is just data in reality, but people started associating it with chiptune, so somehow some people now mix the terms and call chiptune "Midi Music", yet chiptune have nothing to do with MIDI the protocol/.mid the fileformat.
but... then people can't constantly pretend they're smarter by telling others I.e. "the kids" what the original meanings are :(

It's not legal. And in any case it's not abandonware, they're still actively selling these games (maybe not these exact versions, but I doubt a court would see that as a distinction with a difference).

My ublock origin blocked ~20 elements on page load so I'm pretty sure that's intentional.

In technical contexts it's often still important to use words accurately so in that sense it might not lose it's original meaning completely. I've come to accept that everyday language can be messy and inaccurate and one can't always get it right especially if they're not familiar enough with the topic. You can still get the meaning across well-enough.
