I'm a founding engineer working part-time, remote, on monthly output-based retainers. You define what needs to exist. I own it from schema to deploy, and I bring the product calls back to you.

What I've shipped:

1. Tenpo (youth-sports marketplace, San Francisco). Built the production verified-reviews system in a 30-day contract: schema, APIs, moderation dashboards, and automated publish and notification flows. Every read and write path secured with Postgres row-level security. 200+ merged commits, and I closed every finding from the CTO's line-by-line review.

2. The Scientific Place (my own edtech platform). 240,000+ visitors on $0 marketing, featured in Morning Brew and Smashing Magazine. A constraint-satisfaction engine generates procedural puzzles, and a separate cryptographic layer handles anti-cheat. Peaked at 11,000 visitors in one day on a single VPS.

3. Himaya71 (emergency response). Founding engineer on a live pilot. Client-side indoor navigation that reroutes around active fire zones in under 100ms, a YOLOv8 headcount pipeline over RTSP streams, and a custom Android background service for persistent GPS. Won a $5,400 prize and a signed pilot contract.

4. AIWAY (fintech). Designed and ran four interconnected production systems as the sole engineer at near 100% uptime, including a Prophet forecasting engine and a Telegram trading terminal for Binance and Bybit.

5. ASOgency (app-marketing agency, Dubai). First tool live five days after onboarding: a Figma plugin that localizes app screenshots across 39 languages in a single pass, replacing hours of manual editing.

I use AI tooling like autocomplete. It makes me faster, but it doesn't make the decisions, and nothing ships that I haven't read.

The shape: async, billed monthly against agreed output rather than hours. Long-term preferred. Cash, no equity. Part-time because I'm finishing a software engineering degree (4.00 GPA). UAE Golden Visa, self-sponsored.

Software engineer with 6+ years of startup experience building AI-powered products — production systems with real infrastructure, not API wrappers.

Recently shipped:

- Entory (https://apps.apple.com/app/id6804258564) — an AI photo-diary app, built and launched solo on the iOS App Store: React Native (Expo) + Supabase (Postgres, RLS, Edge Functions) proxying Google Vertex AI image generation, a 50+ style prompt catalog, subscriptions via RevenueCat, OTA updates via EAS.

- An AI media intelligence platform for filmmakers (https://youtu.be/manjyiUsfU8) — zero to production in 4 months as the sole engineer: agentic RAG across video, audio, image, and PDF archives, coordinating 5 AI APIs with automatic failure recovery, processing 8.5 hours of video in under 35 minutes.

- An automated CI/CD pipeline with macOS code signing & notarization (https://youtu.be/-DSCZX3uG_c)

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal (UTC+5:45)

Remote: Yes, worldwide. 4-5 hours of overlap with Europe, US East mornings.

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies: TypeScript/Node (NestJS, Next.js, SvelteKit, React), Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes on GCP, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure, Cloudflare. LLM work in production for the last two years: retrieval over pgvector, multi-agent workflows, eval harnesses, voice AI.

Résumé/CV: on request by email. Code: https://github.com/kafle1

Email: kafleniraj@gmail.com

Five years full stack, strongest on the backend. Right now I am the engineer who builds and runs the services at a small US company: NestJS APIs on Postgres, the Next.js and SvelteKit front ends on top, and the delivery side too (Docker images, k8s on GCP, Cloudflare, CI/CD, rollbacks). The last two years of that included LLM features people actually use, not demos: retrieval pipelines, agent workflows, a voice sales bot, and the eval harness that keeps a non-deterministic pipeline honest with a golden set and step traces.

Looking for contract or full-time, and I prefer work scoped to deliverables over seat time. I invoice from Nepal as an independent contractor. If you want to read code before replying: a queue-weighted max-pressure traffic signal controller validated on real junction footage (github.com/kafle1/relay), and a single-camera cricket LBW review tool (github.com/kafle1/pocket-drs).

Resume/CV: https://www.vincentschmalbach.com/?utm_source=hackernews&utm...

Freelance full-stack developer and AI engineer with 15+ years building web applications. My main lane is Laravel/Vue business software: SaaS products, internal tools, API-heavy apps, legacy PHP modernization, and projects that need an experienced person to stabilize them and move them forward.

I also build AI features into production software: OpenAI/Anthropic/Google API integrations, agent-style workflows, scraping/data pipelines, queues, and content/publishing systems.

Founder/operator background from SaaS, ecommerce, SEO/content, and marketplace projects, so I can help with product scope and business tradeoffs as well as implementation. Best fit: remote freelance or contract work, especially 20+ hours/week or focused rescue/build projects.

Résumé/CV: https://me.vpsdashboard.space

Senior full-stack and AI engineer, 6 years of experience. For the last three years I have been the sole engineer behind an enterprise VoIP platform in production with hundreds of business customers: Flutter apps on both stores, React web, Node and Laravel backends, Asterisk and WebRTC telephony, self-hosted infrastructure, releases and on-call.

On the side I build LLM agent systems in production: multi-agent orchestration, RAG, eval and calibration tooling, 40+ apps shipped.

Looking for a senior full-stack or AI engineer role with an English-speaking team. Available immediately, authorized to work in Israel with no sponsorship needed. Also open to a one-week paid trial that converts to a hire.
