> Biden did what he could to help unions and eliminate student debt. LMAO, etc

Behold! A both-sides guy who’s completely unaware of actual real world events! Student loan forgiveness: blocked by the Supreme Court along partisan lines: Biden v. Nebraska ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biden_v._Nebraska ) Union support is so absurdly widespread, I don’t even know what to reference. E.g., on his 3rd day in office, Biden signed an executive order to empower government employees to join unions. This…

Student loan forgiveness is DOA since it fails to target the root problem: inflated tuition prices.

As for unions, ask the average union member what they thought of Biden's presidency. Clearly you weren't paying attention when these issues were making headlines and Biden was looking like the POS that he is in that regard.

It's all fluff, and you were swooped up by it. Get a grip or don't be surprised when your party keeps losing to a gameshow host.

Your response is all fluff. Yes. Raising union membership is not fluff. Actually forgiving student loans of 800k Americans, after the Supreme Court partisanly blocked your efforts to forgive them for 5M is not fluff either.

Lots of union members, like you, lack the ability to tell shit from Shinola. That’s a huge problem, and one I have no clue how to solve. Con men are, sadly, effective despite being, y’know, con men.

You seem to be a perfect encapsulation of the "both-sides" mindset. Blissfully unaware of what's happening around you. But that has 0 impact on your confidence in being right that nothing matters, both sides are the same. The vibes are negative no matter who's president, so everyone should just stop caring about what is or isn't "better". If it's still imperfect, it sucks, bro! Hear that guy over there complaining? Checkmate, libtard!

The big cheap lever that everyone has is voting, and using whatever social leverage you have to get people around you to change their vote. Primary legacy democrats. In NYC, the primary was the real election. Then vote in the replacement Democrat. Replace any Republican in any elected positions, then start taking a closer look at the local D machine.

Ah yea, the famously successful political approach of “discard half the people, they don’t matter, then throw away half of the ones left over”. Works very well.

This isn't about individuals. The Republican Party is completely complicit and as long as members of that party hold office they will continue. I would love to have multiple qualified candidates to choose from across the spectrum but right now the system has been co-opted and a hard reset is the appropriate response.

Sucks seeing the federal government weaponize the U.S. Postal Service to prevent legitimate ballots from being counted.

Okay so now that everyone has been shown how they can cheat the election with mail in ballots. How do you propose to stop the republicans from using mail in ballots to steal the next election? Since clearly you cant use the feds to weaponize the post office. How do the democrats secure an election? Do you just make sure you stuff the box with more mail in ballots than the other guy? You already made it illegal to sho…

Republicans want to prevent legitimate ballots from being counted and make it harder to vote in person.

Democrats want all legitimate ballots counted and to make it easier to vote in person.

Only one party cares about defending democracy.

Yup, if i claim everyone is corrupt, then i can be corrupt. Ironically, if im corrupt, i probably honestly assume everyone else is, or at least superficially assume that, because if i don't, i might think other people are good and i am bad.

> Yup, if i claim everyone is corrupt, then i can be corrupt. We could just decide that’s not how it goes.

You actually can’t, because of the nature of incentives. If everyone else is corrupt and you’re not, you fall behind and get pushed out. This is how systems work.

We see the same thing with companies. If everyone else is using, say, shady dark patterns you’re not, you lose market share and go out of business. The only result then is that everyone must use dark patterns, it stops being optional.

If everyone is corrupt, how will you compete with the amount of money needed to campaign and maintain incumbency? You won’t.

The only solution is to make corruption systemically difficult or impossible. Individual solutions and morals will go absolutely nowhere, because they’re ineffective at a structural level. Corruption is contagious by construction, the very nature of our political structure makes it so.

Your type has only one line, don't you?

Tell you what, the next time somebody like Bernie Sanders comes along, don't stab him in the back a thousand times. Then you might actually have a chance at beating that gameshow host one day!

What party did Bernie Sanders run for president under, again?

- A Bernie voter

(just popped open your comment history to see your other latest comment complaining about vegans, identity politics, doing the "not all men!", "not all white people" thing... You are a parody of a parody of a clown. I'm beyond finished here.)

Sure. Go ahead. See where it gets you.

Hard resets involve guillotines.

Most of north dakota, south dakota, montana, wyoming, idaho, eastern Washington, and oregon are a very similar set of ecosystems.

Which are a completely different set of ecosystems with different needs than the gulf coast, or the southwest, or the northeast. Like for example aquifer depletion is a serious thing in the southwest. It's borderline irrelevant in the northeast which is only getting wetter with climate change anyway. So you split the difference when you write the federal rules and the result is insufficient for the southwest and thei…

But you're still delineating regionally, based on one specific issue... There are issues that affect many or multiple regions. And states are going to have to duplicate effort, and firms or individuals will need to relitigate state by state.

There's been studies of healthcare administration, education, and other areas of devolution in UK and Spain. There are benefits, but there are also costs and outcomes can get worse despite the benefits.

Bernie ran under the Dem party, even though every corpo-Dem made sure to point out that he wasn't a Dem. To most people, that's a feature. Your loss though for blindly supporting the party that sabotaged their best candidate. There's a reason Trump feared the prospect of debating him. Fortunately Dems never let that happen, so congrats on that.

Your post history is full of establishment boot licking, so I frankly give no fucks what you think about mine.
