#52Congrats on the launch. I had a vague idea about personalized medication, did not know it was the VC style scaling of 10m$->100m$ ARR business! There are some messages here complaining about the website being claude(ish). I know HN has people that care about this. They should. Mostly they would be right. But i don't see it being relevant here. Complaining about this business's website is like fluid-mechanics engineer…

#53I'm curious, when you say you're creating vertical integration—are you tackling GMP manufacturing and fill finish as well?

Have you tried a GLP-1?
GLPs have lower effectiveness for the vast majority of overweight and fat people than macrocodex. You can look up GLP non-responder data; furthermore, many people use GLP-1 in a knee-jerk fashion, crashing their nutrition, which may result in loss of lean mass, bile issues, and gallbladder stone risks. And i am not the only one who is saying this, look at this: https://www.reddit.com/r/tirzepatidecompound/comments/1o…
I don't want to assume, but if you've used one, you would understand the benefits are far greater than weight loss.

The truth is a lot less exciting. We got into YC and registered the company name that night, and the domain name was available. The Ro connection was pointed out later. If we are forced to rebrand, we will be more thoughtful.

I'm just asking if you've ever used one. I don't want to assume, but if you've used one, you would understand the benefits are far greater than weight loss.

#57retatrutide sequence: YAQGTFTSDYSILLDKKAQAAFIEYLLEGGPSSGAPPPS
modified sequence to reduce GI symptoms: YAQGTFTSDYSILLDKKAHAAFIEYLLEGGPSSGAPPPS
The difference is in spot 18, where it swaps the alanine with a histidine, which may reduce GI effects/nausea.

Another improvement might be to add amylin/calcitonin receptor agonist to the sequence (similar to cagrilintide). (reference: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2502081)
