Senior Backend Engineer with 6+ years of experience. I specialize in high-concurrency architecture, solving race conditions under scale, and resolving deep technical bottlenecks.

Recently optimized a monolithic workflow, reducing P95 latency by 50% while sustaining 1M+ monthly requests with a 99.996% crash-free rate. Currently operating heavily in the Node.js/TS ecosystem, while actively expanding into Golang.

I am looking for a mature engineering culture that values clean architecture, robust code reviews, and pragmatic problem-solving over hype-driven development. Available for B2B/Contractor roles.

I'm good at cleaning up messes and saving money/reputations. Best suited for wrangling brownfield projects that have jumped the shark, or, ensuring that a greenfield project doesn't go off the rails. I'm also a hybrid engineer/designer, so I can work within an existing design system, or, introduce something custom branded to your product/company.

Fun to work with, reliable, and no bs. Happy to collaborate with others or be left to my own devices to get the job done.

Location: India (IST, UTC+5:30). I work US hours and have for years; any US or EU timezone

Remote: Yes, from India. Full remote for 6+ years, five of them with a US company

Willing to relocate: No

Looking for first or only PM at a US marketplace, B2B commerce, or payments company, pre-seed to Series B. Full-time, or fractional if you need two days a week instead of five. Either a contractor invoice or an EOR works, whichever is easier on your side. No visa, no sponsorship, no relocation to plan.

Fractional is not theoretical for me. I ran growth at Vestaboard on US hours for five years alongside full-time roles, zero to $11M annual revenue on a DTC hardware brand.

Nine years, six countries. Now founding PM at Partao, Europe's largest B2B marketplace for agricultural and construction parts, transaction volume up 120% QoQ. Before that I built Alerzoshop in Nigeria from zero to $160M GMV and 180K+ MAU, including embedded stock financing underwritten against retailers' own wallet history. First PM at souKare in Dubai, 180 customers to 57,000+.

I do the GTM engineering myself. Feed pipelines, event tracking, KYC and payment integrations, internal tools in Retool and n8n.

I also killed a product I built. Veedez Pro hit $55K MRR and 4,500 DAU in nine months and I shut it down, because single owner retailers cannot run back office admin while serving a physical counter.

I’m a full-stack product engineer with commercial e-commerce experience and a recent focus on production systems for generative media.

Most recently, I built a media pipeline for producing full-cast, illustrated audiobook videos with synchronized, e-reader-style text, automating voice generation, rendering, and publishing.

I’m looking for full-time product, full-stack, or commerce engineering roles. I’m also open to contract work.

Availability: Contract/freelance (B2B, EU invoicing) now; open to permanent.

Technologies: Python, C++, PyTorch, self-supervised learning (DINO/ViT), foundation models, multi-GPU distributed training (DDP, A100), medical imaging, computer vision, agentic AI / on-prem LLMs, ROS1/ROS2, Jetson/edge inference, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/HPC, GDPR/EHDS

Résumé/CV: https://francescovigni.com | https://portfolio.francescovigni.com | https://linkedin.com/in/francesco-vigni

Email: francesco.vgn@gmail.com

I build ML that has to run outside the lab: in hospitals, on factory floors, on machines that could hurt someone. PhD (Doctor Europaeus), 7+ years across Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland. Chartered engineer, Italian register.

Recently tech lead on a medical-imaging foundation model for a European clinical research institute (NDA): self-supervised ViT pretraining on multi-GPU A100, competitive with published domain backbones. Owned the whole stack, from the sharded data pipeline and cross-source standardization of heterogeneous clinical data to a one-command reproducible eval harness, plus the GDPR/EHDS data path and the European cloud/HPC sizing.

In parallel, building an on-premise agentic AI product for regulatory and compliance workflows, where data residency and auditability rule out cloud LLM APIs. Funded by a public R&D innovation grant (ACN/Invitalia). If you need agents somewhere an API key isn't allowed to go, I've lived in that problem.

Before: ROS navigation and perception for mobile robots deployed at industrial scale, 3D perception and grasping at Roboception, MSCA PhD on real-time multimodal ML around people.

Looking for clinical/medtech AI, agentic systems in regulated domains, or robotics perception. The model is the easy par job.

  Location: The Netherlands (UTC+1)
Remote: Yes (I've been working fully remote for 10 years)
Willing to relocate: Not yet, but Scandinavia, Austria or Switzerland in a year or so is on the table
Technologies: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Swift, Objective-C
  Résumé/CV: https://www.loopwerk.io/about/KevinRenskers.pdf

I’m a product & engineering lead with 25 years of experience taking software from a vague idea to a product people actually enjoy using. I thrive at the intersection of product and engineering: helping decide what’s worth building, shaping the UX together with design, guiding the architecture, mentoring the team, and staying hands-on in the code.

I care deeply about user experience, clean architecture, code quality, and long-term maintainability. I value pragmatic solutions that balance clarity and performance, and I’m comfortable moving between product decisions, design, and hands-on engineering in the same day.

The tools matter less than the judgment. I happen to work most in Python, TypeScript, and Swift, but what I really bring is the ability to make good technical and product decisions across the whole stack.

I've been online since 1994, building websites since 2000 and iOS apps since 2010. Since 2016 I've worked remotely for international clients including CBS, Last.fm, Sentry, WeTransfer, Unilever, and Emmy and Oscar winner Sound Radix. I also designed, built, and run my own SaaS, Critical Notes, from pricing and onboarding to architecture and support.

What I bring:

  - Product ownership: prioritization, UX, and knowing what's actually worth building
  - Architecture: system and API design, and modernizing legacy codebases
  - Hands-on engineering in Python, TypeScript, and Swift
  - Mentoring and technical leadership
My open source work, portfolio, and CV are at www.loopwerk.io. I'm open to freelancing and employment.

I'm an AI/ML engineer with production experience shipping LLM-powered agents, ML pipelines, and full-stack AI products end-to-end, from data pipelines and model deployment to the UI on top.

Currently building internal automation and AI workflows at a Nigerian fintech (Wayalinks): a support bot, backend/API work, and cross-team tooling.

Recent independent builds: a dual-engine fraud detection system (XGBoost classifier + LangGraph agent investigating borderline cases, trained on 1.3M+ transactions, sub-ms scoring), a LightGBM credit risk engine with SHAP/LIME explainability and a RAG layer grounded in EBA compliance docs (72.5% AUC-ROC on 250K+ loans), and a scholarship-discovery app for African students (Next.js frontend, Python/Playwright scraper, multi-provider LLM fallback chain, containerized and deployed on Render).
