Of course they will. People buy rubbish like this all the time. Here I am in a hotel room with a Dyson fan, which simultaneously moves less air, and is more noisy, with a much more piercing tone, than my home fan with blades that I bought for £30 from screwfix. I'll be turning it off before I sleep... unlike the one at home.

But it doesn't have any fan blades in it!

Only an impeller with blades

I was a little excited at the idea of a toothbrush that would suck my teeth and gums, and then was very disappointed when it turned out to be a camera in my mouth.

I wonder what stack they're using to stream live video from the toothbrush to the phone. I wonder whether the camera can still be activated when the toothbrush is sitting on your bathroom sink countertop, pointed at your shower.

I like mine ok. It's lightweight and gets the job done well enough. Are there vacuums out there nowadays that aren't cheap plastic construction?

I have a Sebo E3 that has been fantastic. Plastic, but still seems very durable. Very well thought out design, too. Miele also makes a good vacuum, but I prefer Sebo.

My wife often says the Dyson v8 vacuum is the best purchase I have ever made, that was 8 years ago.

I wish I could be that happy. I have two V8s and both of them are prone to becoming stinky. Changing out the filters doesn't help, and dismantling and cleaning out the interior does make it better ... for a time. Then the smell comes back.

But for a cordless stick vacuum I do like the basic design. For real vacuuming I choose my Sebo E3 every time, but it's not nearly as quick to use as a cordless stick.

One of the best things you can do for a Dyson stick vacuum, in my humble opinion, is get an adapter so you can use something like a Milwaukee tool battery.

And if you wait a few months, you will find several other alternatives in the market at a more reasonable price. I learned not to jump on the Dyson bandwagon with their vacuum cleaners.

My dentist recommended the dental picks (which can be used multiple times) instead of tape/string. I find it a lot easier than trying to fit my hands on my mouth (especially the longer L-shaped picks)

i find the inconsistent advice from "Dentists" very discouraging.

just like midwives they all seem to have their own opinions that dont equate to scientifically researched advice, yet are presented in a way that if you;re not paying attention will be taken as such.

the hair dryers i appreciate, they seem to be quieter yet not less effective. I appreciate that drop in Db quite a lot.

My wife, upon seeing the pictures of this ridiculous contraption I gleefully waved in her face, described it as "a Sonicare on a steampunk bender", so arguably there are already pretty good options.,
