I would happily spend $500 on this if it really did what it claims to. Maybe.
But I find myself a bit skeptical. Would love to see some long-term third party testing on it.

Any water jets or dyson brand? I haven't had a single dentist tell me anything negative about them but I also don't trust dentists

#14The HN title makes it sound like Toothbrush is their brand, and with the appropriation of common terms for the sake of the brand, I bought it. I would be disinclined to use it. How so? Never heard of anyone having any issues with them, and they are recommended by dentists pretty often

"Oh there's that canker sore I feel. Huh, at least I can see it" Bruh, you don't need a camera for gap detection. Just stick an IR sensor, detect change in light. Boom, $0.05.

#17500 bucks for a toothbrush, but could be some interesting angles. Always dreamed of removing plaque myself, future of robotic dentistry
If this is doing better waterpik + toothbrush and perhaps has a long guarantee and leaves you with a 2x normal feeling every morning, I could see the appeal. I dropped $60 on Waterpic and it broke. So then I got a better Waterpik for $100+ but it was clunky unit with bigger water container that didn't fit in my small bathroom. And it broke. But I do like the feeling of electric toothbrush.

How is that possible? Did you use extreme pressure that penetrated your gums? I use Waterpik every day, and my teeth are cleaner than ever.

dentists made up the 6 month rule. There's no evidence that it improves outcomes, for most people with healthy teeth, 24 months is fine:
