I'm a cybersecurity leader with 15+ years of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering, product security, offensive security, and management. I recently took the summer off to take care of my kids while my wife started a grad school internship. Now I'm back and looking for a new opportunity. Before this, I was at HubSpot, leading infrastructure security (cloud security, vulnerability management) and a new group we called Threat Operations, responsible for incident response, threat intelligence, offensive security, and product detection engineering.

I'm looking for a position in cybersecurity leadership where I can leverage my breadth of technical experience to lead and strengthen a cybersecurity program. I love grabbing time to chat with people about the industry and challenges I can help with, even if you don't have a position to offer.

I am a computer engineer with two degrees and extensive experience both as a manager of a team of 10, and as a software developer for over 30 years.

I am most interested in a director or project manager position, or as a software architect. I also prefer Apple tech but am open to other opportunities.

I am a product and technology executive who operates across P&L, product strategy, organizational leadership, architecture, and code.

At EBSCO, I owned two business units spanning identity and API platforms: a 60-person global organization, $20M budget, eight direct reports, and infrastructure supporting $700M+ in recurring revenue. I prevented a proposed $60M/year CIAM commitment, captured $5M+ in vendor savings, cut customer onboarding from months to two days, and led platforms through ISO 27001 and FedRAMP authorization while sustaining five-nines availability.

I currently lead product and engineering for SignalWeb.ai, a production multitenant generative-AI media platform, and built a 120GB campaign-intelligence lakehouse processing 367M FEC records and 61M election-result rows. I also serve as Managing Partner at Axion Ventures, leading venture underwriting and startup-development teams.

Earlier, I shipped Oracle's first mobile point-of-sale product, built and sold a municipal SaaS business serving 43 cities, engineered distributed payment systems, and authored a book on distributed computing.

I am most useful when a company needs one executive to connect product, engineering, AI/data, cloud, security, economics, GTM, and organizational design. I am interested in leadership mandates with enough scope to use that range.

I'm a computer scientist and engineering/data leader with 15+ years of experience building software, data platforms, and intelligent systems. I have a PhD in Computer Science and have worked as an Engineering Manager, Data & Analytics Engineering Manager, researcher, professor, and independent consultant.

My current focus is applied AI: LLM-based agents, agent orchestration, RAG, knowledge-based systems, and using process/data science to make AI systems useful in real organizations. I enjoy working across the stack — from architecture and data models to backend, infrastructure, and the actual product.

I'm currently looking for remote opportunities in Applied AI/ML, AI Agents, Data/AI Engineering, technical leadership, or architecture. I'm also open to consulting or fractional engagements, particularly with startups or teams building AI-native products.

Co-creator of Retriever (https://runretriever.app/), an AWS-deployed observability platform that enables AI-powered trace analysis through distributed systems. Built a custom MCP server allowing developers to query trace data using natural language through LLMs like Claude, optimizing context consumption through intelligent data distillation from verbose OTLP structures.

Experienced with building full-stack applications. I am comfortable using AWS as a cloud environment and have experience with AI technologies such as RAG, MCP, and Vector embeddings.

I am an AI/Full-stack Engineer with 3+ YoE focused on production AI pipelines, inference optimization, and high-precision RAG. Recently as a Founding Engineer at Cascade Intelligence (a16z speedrun), I re-architected a vector matching pipeline that tripled RFP match precision from 20% to 60%. I also built Elliot AI, a proactive companion utilizing hybrid RAG to guarantee My foundational infrastructure background includes scaling an async queue-based email system from 400K to 1.5M+ daily sends and driving $2.1M+ in annualized revenue impact through microservice A/B experimentation at Amazon. I am actively seeking senior or founding AI engineering roles to tackle massive system design challenges and build core agentic frameworks, and I require a STEM-OPT transfer (no sponsorship cost).
