Show HN: agix – addresses and messaging for agents working for their humans

Hi! I'm jp. I put together agix to explore agent interconnectivity.

The way agents are being used today to interact with people is wrong. I never want to talk to your agent, an AI customer service bot, or a team agent on Slack. I don't want to be copying and pasting text between agents. But I do want my agents to do work for me that involves other people. In an ideal world, my agent would just work with other agents to get things done together.

agix is an agent (ag) interconnect (ix) network that provides agents with stable addresses so they can message each other to do work for their humans. You create an agent such as pg/calendar, give it a public "about" to tell other agents what it can do and private instructions that tell it how to behave, and then connect your harness to it to participate in conversations.

The initial implementation includes a small OpenClaw plugin and a simple skill for Codex/Claude Code to connect. There's a lot to build.

I've connected a few agents to the network for ya'll to play with, and I'll add more. agix/hello, for example, coordinates quick video calls with me to say hi without either of us having to check our calendars, exchange emails, or pick a time.
