“legacy” islamist terrorists? as if a violent ideology that’s been around for centuries simply gets deprecated like IE6? if only it were that easy.
"terrorism" is a racket. Also, it is nothing compared to what US and others did to other countries. Yes, scale matters. So please.

OK, let's go 30 years back and see how many terror attacks, worldwide, were from islamists: it's something like 95% of all terror attacks. Then we take all the drug related killings (in which drug users have a responsibility btw: I don't care if they should be legal or not, they're not and you're evil if you support in a…
what evidence is there that this registered republican was "far left"?

#65lol. In case you didn’t notice, dissent is terrorism, failure to kiss the ring is treason, and if you want to play in the US market there are some cryptocurrency purchases you might want to do, as a hedge against unfavorable tariffs. Also, for only 100KUSD you can join the official US insider trading chat. I wish any of this was an exaggeration.
I wonder if there are Americans on hn who already self censor their criticism of the Trump regime because they're scared of reprisals.

So far, investigators haven't found any evidence on social media or other
writings by Crooks that might help identify his motive for the attempted
assassination, law enforcement officials say... And a review of public
records suggests he may have had divergent political leanings, with Crooks
registering to vote as a Republican but making a small donation to a
Democratic-leaning group.Re: Autistici/Inventati's main .org domain goes dark after US terrorism designation

ICANN can't suspend second-level domains, this is up to the owner of .org (the Public Interest Registry) or the registrar of the particular domain (Gandi).
Maybe they can now move to a .it subdomain, since they are not designated as a terrorist organization in Italy.

CSIS has an updated report. While right wing extremism was more prevalent in the decade up to 2024, it dropped significantly in 2025 for unclear reasons. https://www.csis.org/analysis/left-wing-terrorism-and-politi...
1. An anti-LGBTQ plot targeting a Texas pride parade
2. The attack on a Michigan Mormon congregation.
Also csis states "the fall in right-wing violence is likely temporary"
