It's a temporary pause in INTERVIEWS, not the entire process. The pause is to train people to analyze whether that person would be dependent on public services. Unfortunately our public services are overloaded by illegal immigrants, this is needed. And what does that have to do with GP conflating stats meant for immigrants with illegal immigrants?

Your situational awareness would improve remarkably if you would stop taking everything your favorite politicians say at face value and assume malicious intent until proven otherwise.

Probably for its use of the "TESCREAL" slur. Which it isn't even using accurately, since most people in basically all of the groups in "TESCREAL" think the administration sucks.

They really don't have to call a group far left or far right in their justification, because it sounds like weak credibility in search of social support. They could just call them a criminal organization seeking directly, or indirectly, to contribute to violence for political ends, which does not sound like the case here.

But if they label it far left then they get to rile their idiot supporters up.

Assuming this is a serious question: There are people who are not themselves fascists who object to the direct action tactics (read: violence, vandalism) sometimes employed under the banner of "antifa."

It's an acronym or neologism. The groups comprising it are often cult like, but I also don't view that as a controversial statement.

TESCREAL is a word meaning "a bunch of unrelated groups that Timnit Gebru thinks are nerds", who are not really aligned with the administration.

(I also think they're nerds.)
